About the conference
The Pan-European Conference on Digital Education is a valuable international event that has emerged in response to the challenges that teachers have faced during the COVID-19 outbreak. This monthly conference offers a wealth of digital teaching ideas across a range of subjects and educational levels, attracting over 300 live attendees each month and more than 5,000 subsequent views. Teachers from across Europe have embraced the conference as a means of introducing innovative digital teaching methods and sharing best practices.
The conference plays a vital role in making these best practices visible and helping to circulate teaching ideas across countries, which has proven especially necessary in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. |
By fostering a strong network among teachers, the conference promotes a better impact on students, a sense of belonging, a willingness to take risks, teacher identity, and a growth mindset.
Primera's Pan-EU digital learning events are successful in delivering a European dimension in continuous professional development across Europe, as teaching practices are sourced from all participating countries and address common challenges from different cultural perspectives. These events focus on a range of topics, including cross-curricular digital projects, digital assessment, digital didactics, digital peer collaboration, digital preschool, overcoming inequity, student motivation, and thinking skills. |
