DAY 1: Arrival and introduction
Arrival Introduction & getting to know each other Course aims and finalisation of the programme DAY 2: Systemic leadership What are the problems of the 21st century school? Why is there a need for a systemic approach to school management? How does a systemic approach look in practice? Individual tutorials (optional) / social programme DAY 3: Problem solving tools - part I What are some useful tools that can help us? How can these tools be applied? How can we use these tools to solve some typical problems? Individual tutorials (optional) / social programme DAY 4: Problem solving tools - part II What are the non-typical problems? How do we describe problems effectively? What are the tools for an effective presentation of the problem? Country presentations - effective leadership practices exchange DAY 5: Real-world scenarios What are the problems in our school we would like to address? How do we know that we have described the problems well? How do we know that we have really defined the problems? Individual tutorials (optional) / social programme DAY 6: Designing the solutions How do we move from problem to solution? How do we move from the concept to a practical solution? How do the tools work in a system? Social activity / free time DAY 7: Action plan and evaluation How can we continue? Action plans. How can we validate our learning outcomes? What is next? Feedback on the course and certification. * Some changes in the programme are possible - the content of the course is always adapted to the participants previous knowledge, expectations and requirements. The participants receive the Informational Booklet a few weeks prior to the start of the course. |
